One Night @ the Call Center or ON@CC is the last Novel by Cheta Bhagat - the ex IITan who wrote Five Point Someone - What not to do at IIT. This novel depicts the hectic mixup between professional and personal life of the call center employees. This book has touched the sentiment and impulse of the Indian youth who are working in IT/ITES. After gone through this book parents or family might be understood that how much pressure are imposing on us and how depressed we are with our job profile. Lets have some intro with the characters portryed by Chetan in this novel…

Shyam- very ordinary guy work in the call center but he is the protagonist here and still love to dream about Priyanka after breaking up. He is working on a troubleshoot website along with Vroom.
Priyanka- always been sandwiched between her Mom and her demands. She broke up with Shyam as her mother didn’t approve him.
Varun A.K.A.Vroom- lure of high speed cars and a short-tempered guy. He was quiet depressed after disapproved by his love Esha who took him as a cassanova.
Esha- the aspiring girl looking for bright future in modelling but got a very bad experience with a designer.
Radhika- she tried hard to keep her mom-in-law and husband happy. But ever complaining and eavesdropping nature of her mom-in-law made her life hell. When Vroom calls up her husband Anuj portraying as a radio jockey and asks him to dedicate roses and a song to someone special, he chooses his girlfriend over his wife. Radhika was listening to all this and hell broke lose when she learnt this.
Military Uncle- the only aged person of team whose son ask him to keep aloof from his family.
Bakshi- Subhas Bakshi is the negative shed in this novel.He wickedly stole all the credits of Shyam and Vroom for their troubleshooting website project.

Orkut Büyükkökten is a Turkish software engineer who developed the social networking service called orkut while working at Google. He developed Orkut as an independent project while working at Google, the outgrowth of a company policy whereby all employees at Google can spend 20% of their time working on personal interests. Google follows the principle where each employee can divide his time in 70:20:10. 70% on his/her core business, 20% on matters of their interest but related to Google’s core business of search and 10% time on absolutely anything. While previously working for Affinity Engines, he had developed a similar system, InCircle, intended for use by university alumni groups. In late June 2004, Affinity Engines filed suit against Google, claiming that Büyükkökten and Google based orkut on inCircle code. The allegation is based on the presence of 9 identical bugs in orkut that also exist in InCircle. check out the profile…
